My sweet Bowen
You are such a little talker and you can just go on and on about all kinds of things.  You asked me awhile ago why Caden was in daycare and how old would he be when he didn't have to go anymore and I said 6, well that is bothering you b/c you are always asking me why he has to go to daycare until he is 6.  You are getting to the point where you two are having fun together and enjoy each other's company.  Well, he has always enjoyed yours b/c you are the big boy, but you have not always enjoyed his company especially when he wanted every toy you had.
Papa and I are going to China tomorrow and I showed you on the globe where it would be and I told you I would be  flying over the North Pole and you want me to watch for an elf and if I see one to take a picture.
You gave me a great big hug and it sure felt good.

To my precious Bowen,
you are taking swimming lessons now and you wanted to make sure I came to one of your lessons to watch you and you told me not to be late.  So, I went last night, however, you do not like your swim lessons and you were crying, I felt so sad.  I just wanted to grab you and hold you.

We stopped at Aunt Judy's house last week and in her entrance she had a pair of shoes and you looked up at me and said "does she only have one pair of shoes?"  oh my, so funny, b/c your house if full of shoes and you were very curious about her shoes.  PS, she has more than one, but only one by the door.

I took you to see the Chinese acrobats at the Chautauqua institute and you were very spellbound by the first young boy who came out.  You could see his boobies under his shirt and then you asked me if it was a boy or girl b/c he had eye makeup on!!  He was in show costume, but you were very curious about the makeup.

Bryce is always writing notes to your mommy and I told her I would love her to write a note to me and later in the evening when your daddy came to get you.  You had him write a note, it said "to gramma, love bowen"  Wow, talk about melting my heart.  You are such a little sweetheart and I love you so much.

We are going to see a play this Sunday, The Little Mermaid. I know you will love it.

My dear Bowen,
You are such a sweetheart and I love you.  I can't believe you are almost 5 years old. Wow, how did that happen so quickly?
You love to come to the lake house and you always tell me you want to spend 10 days there.  I hope at some point you can spend more than just one day. Pretty soon, I hope.  Gramma wants you to come and enjoy everything.  Papa and I got this house hoping for lots of family time.
The other day you were running up the hill at my house and you stopped running and you said "My run turns off when I go uphill." Ha
You told me last year you always wanted to see a lighthouse, and this year they started to allow tours of the lighthouse at Presque Isle, so Gramma took you and Bryce and we climbed to the top.  I think you had a great time

My dear Bowen,
The other day you and Caden were pretending to ride Papa's lawnmower. So you were both sitting on it and then you would gas it up and you kept asking Caden, "do you want to go to North East or Disney"?  Now that is quite a decision to make. Caden would say disney and you would ask the same question again and again..
Last summer, I found a snake skin by our garage, so I made sure to show it to you b/c I knew you would love to see that kind of thing.  Well, last month we were all at Uncle Dan's house and there was a snake by his house.  You were pretty sure it must be the same snake that left the skin at my house.  Haha that snake sure traveled pretty far.
Caden gets so excited to see you and if he even thinks you are sad, he will ask Bowen happy??
I went to your last day program at preschool today.  How fun. Tomorrow it is Bryce's last day program.  Here comes summer

My little Valentine
Oh Bowen, you are such a grown up, I can't believe sometimes that you are only 4.  And last year, I couldn't believe you were only 3!! Wow. You are too funny.
Papa and I spent two weeks in Florida and we did facetime with you and you ask what we did today and then when I told you we had ice cream you asked what flavor we had.  These are questions that I would expect from an adult, not a 4 year old.  You are too much
Caden just loves you so much and you two are getting pretty close now, since Bryce is in school.  The other day you were very sad and he just starred at you and went over and hugged you and just kept looking in to your eyes and was so sad that you were sad.
I love that you cousins are close.
Chase facetimes me all the time and he always asks about Bowen!  He loves his cousins and doesn't even get to see you very much
