 My dear Bowen

I miss you so much.  THis virus is sure taking its toll on families and relationships.  It is so hard.  We won't be getting together for Thanksgiving this year and  I will sure miss that.  Life is so short and then this past year we have all been doing nothing.  It just makes me sad.  I wish I could just stand still for a little bit and not have life go so darn fast.  There is just not a way to slow it down.

We are in Florida right now and at least it is nice because we can get outside.  

I remember when your daddy was a very little guy and I was getting the Christmas lights out to check and make sure they worked, so we were sitting on the floor and when I plugged the first one in your daddy's eyes got real big and he said "OH mommy LOOK"  it was so cute and he was so excited. 

Always remember it is the little things in life to hang on to.

 My sweet Bowen!

I love you so very much.  You guys are doing virtual school this year and Papa and I are living at the lake house right now, b/c Brian and Bibi are living in our house.  So, one day a week when Papa goes to work I I have going to your house and sitting with you and Bryce while you do your work.  The first time I sat in your room while you did your school work and you talked for two straight hours!!  It was so funny, you still got your work done, but you talked the whole time. 

Yesterday I was sitting with Bryce on the couch watching her do her work and you decided to sit in the living room too. :)

You and I made some no bake cookies and your favorite jello salad.

You are the sweetest and I love you

 My precious Bowen,

You are becoming such a gentleman and I just can't believe how sweet you are.  The other day I came to your house and as normal, I had several things I was taking out of my car and you came right over and said "do you need any help grammie" 

Whenever, I see you you say "grammie"  and it is just the sweetest sound to me.  I sure love you.

We went to your cross country meet the other night and you did a great job running.  So proud watching you.

My dear Bowen!
What an awesome young man you are growing into.  I swear you can do anything you put your mind to, you have some many interests and you are always learning new things.
We went for a walk a couple weeks ago with Bryce, Kiera and Caden and we walked past a cemetery and I said "did you guys see the cemetery?: and you said "well, it is really sad that no one mows it"  and it hadnt been mowed for quite a while and was all over grown and how sweet that you thought it was sad not to be mowed.
But you are so funny too, you want to argue about everything.  I took you guys to an ice cream place and you wanted a vanilla malt and i read the sign and it didn't list that, so I told you and you said, "well, I know they have it," so, when the girl came to our window i asked if they had vanilla malt and she said no, only vanilla, so you ordered vanilla and when it came you said "see, it is vanilla malt!"  haha.
Then one day we were at Uncle Shanes and he had some dead grass that was really smelly and you asked what smelled and Uncle Shane told you and you said "well, I want to prove you wrong, but I don't want to smell the grass!"  Shane and I cracked up over that.
We all went on a creek walk last week and everytime we came to a log or big rock you would reach back and take my hand.  How sweet....I can't believe that I am the old lady now that people watch out for, not sure how that happened so quickly, but how kind of you. 
Last week at the lake house, you learned to water ski!  you were so excited and we were so excited for you.  See, you can do anything you put your mind to.  I am so so proud of you Bowen and I love you so much

My sweet Bowen,
I sure love you and you are such a sweet boy.  You are the best cousin to your little Caden and he sure thinks the sun rises and sets in you.  But you are so good with him and to him, when you are together, you are always hugging him and you have your arm over his shoulder.
You are the most well rounded boy I know.  You are athletic, intelligent,  compassionate, and loving.  I am just always so impressed by all the things you do and accomplish.
This 2020 pandemic is killing me, not to be able to see my grandkids.  I should have stayed in Florida.  But I didn't think it would be so bad and I haven't hardly seen you at all.

My sweet Bowen,
You are back in wrestling again and mama sent me a video of you in a match and you pinned the poor kid in a matter of seconds.  I sent the video to Uncle Jerry b/c he was a big wrestler and went to college on a wrestling scholarship and he called me right away and wanted to tell me what great form, physique, body shape, muscle, moves that you had.  He went on for about 10 minutes about how good you were for 9 years old and what a body you had.  You really do have a great body.
